Grace came to our table at the LA County Air Show and she stayed there for 30 minutes playing with the mealworms! She loved the mealworms and did not want to stop playing with them!
This young scientist sitting down is participating in Fireworks in a Jar and did this activity THREE TIMES! She was actively engaged in our workshop, wants to become a scientist, and would like to be part of her own Girls Build LA team!
Nevaeh
Nevaeh came to our 2nd workshop and stayed at our event for the entire hour and a half! She loved the mealworms and played with them the entire time! When she told us that she wanted to take some home as a pet, we gladly gave her some mealworms in a cup with food for her to take home. When we interviewed Nevaeh, she said that she wanted to be a scientist when she grows up because she wants to learn more about science!
LITTLE SCIENTIST!
Anthony has been at all of our events and want to become an engineer! We are reaching for gender equality, and that means both females and males in STEM!
These girls have been touched by Girls Build LA at our events and are empowered to make a difference! They are a true representation of Girls Build LA!
Anileme (Emily)
Emily is a high school student from the Palmdale Aerospace Academy who was in the STEM tent with us at the LA County Air Show at the Aerospace table. She used her break to help us at our table with face paining and meal worms! She promotes us to student at her school and at her ballet classes!
